Welcome to YES (Young Entrepreneur Summit)!
Led by young entrepreneurs, for budding young entrepreneurs, YES (Young Entrepreneur Summit) is a dynamic, one-day summit designed to fuel and nurture the entrepreneurial spirit within young, ambitious business leaders.
YES is a super high energy, action-packed event for Secondary School students that features keynote presentations, panel discussions and interactive group workshops on a whole range of important enterprising skills such as ideation, public speaking, financial literacy, validation and networking. The energy doesn’t just stop at the end of the day - we provide all educators with complimentary access to ‘The Student Startup Program’ - a 10 week entrepreneurship unit with lesson plans, slides and activities.
Small businesses are the cornerstone of the Australian economy, comprising over 95% of all businesses. They employ close to half of the Australian workforce and contribute about 35% to our economic output. YES serves as an ideal excursion for business students and aspiring school leaders eager to dive into the business world, providing them the tools and knowledge to either launch their own ventures or excel in their careers within existing companies.

Dive into an engaging ideation session where you’ll identify local problems and brainstorm innovative business or social change solutions to solve them. You'll then have the opportunity to refine your soft skills as you prepare a 'Shark Tank' style pitch.

Immerse yourself in the day where you'll receive tips on the essential elements of public speaking, including tone, pace, and prosody. Additionally, we'll equip you with valuable strategies to build quick bursts of confidence before and during speaking engagements.
