The Central Coast Young Entrepreneur Sprint

We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the Central Coast Young Entrepreneur Sprint in partnership with Central Coast Council. This 4-Month Sprint is designed to fast-track young entrepreneurs by providing them with the essential skills, knowledge, and network to start and grow their businesses.

Participant Requirements: We ask that you commit to attending at least 80% of the in-person sessions in order to get the most out of the program. We encourage young people aged 16-24 in the Central Coast who are interested in business or starting one!

Cost: Thanks to the generous support of Central Coast Council, participation in the Sprint is free of charge. However, spots are extremely limited and will be allocated through an application process below The sprint is a series of intensive workshops aimed at young people who are passionate about entrepreneurship and business.

The workshops will cover the following topics:

  • 💡 Develop and refine business ideas that directly address community or global challenges. You'll learn how to identify problems that need solving and design solutions.

  • 💰 Gain financial literacy to sustainably manage and scale a business. Understanding the financial aspects of a business is crucial to ensuring it can grow and maintain its impact.

  • 🎤 Improve public speaking and pitching skills to effectively communicate your business. Being able to tell your story and present your vision is essential in attracting support and investment.

  • 🦈 Experience a Shark Tank-style pitching session to present your business ideas to potential investors and mentors. This is your chance to gain critical feedback and possibly secure support for your venture.

  • Our team of experienced facilitators will be running the workshops. All our staff have the relevant Working With Children's Check + Blue Cards. We will also be bringing along special guests for the sprint to talk on different topics!

  • The Central Coast Young Entrepreneur Sprint is designed to fast-track young entrepreneurs by equipping them with the essential skills, knowledge, and networking opportunities needed to launch and grow a business. Through a series of intensive workshops, participants will develop and refine business ideas, gain financial literacy, improve public speaking and pitching skills and participate in a Shark Tank-style pitching session.

  • If you require additional support between workshops, we offer group coaching sessions. Our program includes 4 x 60-minute group coaching sessions to ensure you receive ongoing guidance and assistance throughout the Sprint.

  • No, you do not need to have a business idea to apply. The Sprint is designed to help you develop and refine your business concepts. Whether you have an idea or are looking to explore potential opportunities, our workshops will support you in every stage of your entrepreneurial journey.

  • No! Thanks to our partnership with Central Coast Council, we are able to provide these valuable sessions at no cost to participants. However spots are extremely limited and through application process only.

  • Absolutely! You are welcome to apply with a friend. Who knows, you might discover that you make great co-founders. Applying together can also provide additional motivation and support as you navigate the Sprint.

  • Once you’ve sent in your application, we may reach out to have a quick chat with you on your application and aspirations for the Sprint. After that, we’ll send you all the details you need to get started. Due to the high demand, if we can't have you in this cohort we’ll let you know too.
